Travelling has been always one’s choice and prefers to travel to those places which one tries to explore. Around the globe, there are very attractive places but before traveling one should explore the visiting country very well. But there are a few countries which one should avoid visiting at the cost of health. These countries have been stereotyped for the outbreak of some of the other kinds of severe health problems, which later one has to pay badly for it and sometimes demands the life of one.

Looking at the kind of health problems existing in the countries around the globe, travelers have been alarmed about the current health issues that would impact their health depending on the popularity of the country’s outbreak.

World Health Organization has divided some of the countries which are frequently prone to outbreak of deadly diseases into three categories depending on the epidemic of global emergency declaration.

3. Watch Level 1 (Green): In these countries, one has to Practice usual precautions. They are the green mark destinations on the map. The Travel Health department has given instructions that one should remain up-to-date with all recommended vaccines and be familiar with the mosquito repellents’.

The health emergency was declared in January 2020, due to the outbreak of respiratory illness caused by a coronavirus which is pandemic.

  • Though Chinese officials have all the activities within and out of Wuhan and other cities in Hubei province, including buses, subways, trains, and the international airport. Not only Wuhan other locations in China are also getting affected.

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo January 03, 2020, there was an outbreak of Ebola in the North Kivu (Kivu Nord) and Ituri provinces in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

  • Currently, there is an outbreak of Ebola in the South Kivu (Kivu Sud), North Kivu (Kivu Nord), and Ituri provinces in the northeastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
  • Travelers visiting this area could be infected with Ebola if they come into contact with an infected person’s blood or other body fluids.
  • If travelers develop fever, muscle pain, sore throat, diarrhea, weakness, vomiting, stomach pain, or unexplained bleeding or bruising during or after travel then they should approach medical care immediately.
  • CDC has provided tight recommendations to ensure workers with potential occupational exposure to Ebola are healthy when they return to the United States.

  • Travelers visiting Japan should make sure they are vaccinated against rubella with the MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccine before traveling.

  • Travelers going to Nigeria should get vaccinated against yellow fever at least 10 days before the travel and should take all the precautions to protect from mosquito bites while staying there.
  • The people who had never gone for vaccination against yellow fever should avoid traveling to Nigeria during the outbreak of this fever.
