Salman Khan is back with his latest Eid offering – Bharat along with Katrina Kaif. Here’s Bharat Movie Review By Flypped
Salman Khan gave us a special gift, Bharat, It will make you cry and joy. But it will also give you action, romance, drama and definitely, comedy.
The film also features Sunil Grover as Bharat’s friend and colleague and Disha Patani, who is essaying the role of a circus performer and artist. Besides them, the film also has Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Nora Fatehi and Aasif Sheikh in supporting roles, who will partake in the journey of Bharat at different points in the film’s timeline.
Bharat, riding on the shoulders of an aging superstar who goes from 17 to 70 in the course of the 167-minute drama, promises a great deal. Salman Khan Fans have already declared it as the Blockbuster movie of the year.
Bharat is based on the Korean film Ode to my father. The Film is a trek through post-Independence India while walking alongside a common man whose name is Bharat with no surname attached. The boy was a resident of Gaon Mirpur, Lahore, when, at the age of 8, his life and family were torn apart by the cruelty of Partition. His entire existence since has been devoted to keeping the promise made to his Dad that he would take care of the family.
Taking upon himself the onus of keeping his mother and siblings safe through thick and thin, the hero faces a series of challenges posed by socio-political upheavals, economic distress, epochal changes in the nation’s fortunes, and life-threatening emergencies.
As Bharat’s story runs parallel to independent India’s, momentous events in history get referenced — Nehru’s death, India winning its first cricket World Cup, Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan’s rise and Shah Rukh Khan emerging as superstars the nation looked up to.
An emotional journey that wins you over… Salman is the lifeline. He’s exceptional… Katrina excels… Ali Abbas Zafar blends humour + emotions wonderfully… Slight trimming needed… Get ready for #Salmania. #BharatReview pic.twitter.com/FVMFYZf9y0

The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Zafar has the best credentials for the job: in the blockbuster Sultan (2016), he successfully harnessed Salman Khan and his outsized screen persona into something resembling a real person.
