“Baahubali changed my life and the lives of the people around me. I’m not at all worried about people still calling or referring to ‘Baahubali’. If it’s still happening even after 10 years, it won’t bother me. I’m very proud of it.”
After Bahubali Prabhas became a household name and its Massive success made him the overnight sensation and a name that every filmmaker is asking for. The actor started his career in 2002 with Telugu drama and then gave major blockbusters back to back before Bahubali.
“For us, it takes a lot of time to sink in. It took me three years to get used to the success of the Baahubali series. I was like, ‘Oh wow, this was such a huge hit.’ And I know personally that it was not me who directed the film or wrote the script. The credit goes to Rajamouli sir and the producers.”
Getting success like a jackpot is easy but making it consistent is a difficult task to do or sometimes luck is what is not in your favour. Same goes with Prabhas, the Bahubali actor started going downwards in recent years with some major flops. The actor gave two fat budgeted films like SAHO and RADHE SHYAM but none worked for him.
Maybe bollywood is not the lucky space for Prabhas as his recent release ADI PURUSH also became a wreck not only in terms of earnings but this film of Prabhas is also a cultural and political mess.
But now the audience is again hoping that his upcoming movie Salaar will be a game changer for Prabhas Career. The audience’s assumptions said that Salaar is the part of blockbuster KGF’S universe and will unleash a new chapter and another dimension of KGF. This 200 Crore Prashanth Neel’s directorial film Salaar also starrer Shruti Hassan and other actors. The most awaited movie’s teaser will be released on 6th July 2023 and the film will be released on 28th September 2023.
