India vs South Africa Series

India vs South Africa Series: Mohali will host the Second T20 Match of India vs South Africa Series, and the speculations of Virat Kohli trying new opening combinations on September 18 are high.

The 1st T20 International match between India and South Africa broke all hopes of India getting the lead in the first match; it was canceled due to heavy rains in Dharamshala where it was match was about the start. Fans were too cruel towards the authorities for not considering the monsoon season. The second match, however, is going to take place in Mohali, Punjab and everyone is curious about the weather of Mohali as well.

The latest news related to the India vs South Africa 2ND T20I apart from the weather is that we might get to see a new opening pair.  It’s time when the captain can try various positions to see his players’ expertise. Kohli had already stated that the young players who are presently playing at sides will now get the opportunity to show their talents to ensure their position in the future team as it is the team-building time for T20 World Cup.

Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma is one of the top cricketers when it comes to open the limited over cricket, and he has to do the same for the India vs South Africa T201 Series. There are less speculations that the Position of Rohit Sharma will change in the second match because he has already been entrusted to open for all three formats including T20, ODI, and Test for the South Africa Tour to India.

KL Rahul

Most of us have seen and appreciated Shikhar Dhawan as the opening partner for Rohit Sharma and both of them have proven their combination in numerous matches. Now, the selectors have decided to give a chance to KL Rahul, who has also proved his proficiency.

Virat Kohli

Captain Virat Kohli mostly enters to field on the third positions and get to play as the openers have to leave, but if their positions are about to change, then he could also think of trying a new spot. Though it is the time to try new combinations, the captain cannot neglect the team’s performance.

Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant has been in limelight since Ravi Shastri and Virat Kohli have acknowledged his capabilities, but also expressed concerns about his temperament. Presently Rishabh Pant plays in the fourth position, and there are less chances of his getting a different position.

Manish Pandey

Pandey has proved his excellence as he has maintained his form for a long time and has always performed well at his position. There are chances of him getting to play in the middle order instead of Shreyas Iyer.

Hardik Pandya

The daring all-rounder played his first match after the World Cup when he appeared in the first T20I against South Africa. Pandya’s presence offers a great equilibrium to the Indian Team. His bowling aptitudes not only strengthens Indian Fielding, but his handiness with the bat at the final stage of the match allows the team to offer a huge score, especially when they are chasing, we never lose hope till Pandya is on the field.

Apart from the spectacular bowlers, we have exceptional talents when it comes to the bowling department. Ravindra Jadeja, Krunal Pandya, Washington Sundar, Deepak Chahar, and Navdeep Saini might also remain in the team against South Africa.  Though there are doubts if Jadeja and Krunal Pandya should play together as both of them have similar qualities when it comes to having some uniqueness. Now, it’s up to the captain to decide the new positions for the India vs South Africa 2nd T20I, only if he actually has decided to do the same.
