Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, has specified a glance of the future travel and said our future of travel will be something like in the form of human flight.
Sheikh Hamdan, on his social media account, posted an online video of the mission, titled ‘Human Flight’, which was carried out recently by X-Dubai and the Jetman duo Vince Reffet and Fred Fugen.
The 100% autonomous human flight was carried out in China over the Tianmen Mountain to promote Expo 2020 to the world, which is revealing breath-taking footage of the valleys in China. This was taken by enthusiastic crowd of onlookers of the daredevil stunts.
In accordance with Expo 2020, another online video was also posted of the men speeding across the China’s sky. X-Dubai and the Jetman thrill-seekers aim to achieve 100 per cent autonomous human aviation by 2020.
The grey area is a height range where humans cannot fly autonomously. But by flying at higher altitudes which had never attempted before by anyone, Jetman is now scaling down the grey area. And hope so, by the end of 2020, according to organisers of the Expo committee, it will completely vanish.
The Jetman Team: Extreme Sports
The Jetmen multinational team is comprised of Vince Reffet and Fred Fugen, both are French athletes with an impressive list of accomplishments in the world of extreme sports.
Vince and Fred both of them will be supporting Ahmed Hassan Alshehhi, an award-winning athlete from the UAE, set to become the first citizen of UAE to achieve autonomous human flight by 2020.
Al Shehhi is 31 years old, has a record of skydiving of more than 5,300 freestyle skydive and his other skills in aviation includes paramotor, excitor, paragliding and speed flying.
