Congratulations and celebrations to all the award winners. Yes, you guessed it correct. The most awaited and prestigious National Film Awards have been announced. Usually, these awards are announced in April, but this year, we had to wait for long. It is August, and the entire film industry was holding their breaths when the Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar announced the list of winners.
All of us are aware that the National Film Awards are the official awards of India, and the announcement was postponed due to the general elections. The specialty of the NFA is, it doesn’t differentiate between the Hindi and regional cinema, and decide their winners solely on their performance and not because of their charm, or fan following.
The Date for National Film Awards Ceremony is Yet to be Decided
The award ceremony would take place in Shastri Bhawan within a few days as the authority has not announced the date yet. Nevertheless, the jury members submitted their suggestions to the minister, and the final list has been announced.
