Need of Technology in Class Rooms: There’s a famous saying “I don’t believe in technology until I can download food”. Who does not dream of a world where we can actually witness the flying cars in the sky, where the traffic has to be managed both up and down, where the pizza is delivered through the sky within five minutes time!!

Technology is the term coined for the conversion of scientific knowledge to practical application. Today technology is everywhere and everybody is intertwined with it, knowingly or unknowingly. With the growing popularity of lot and various other technologies, it has now become mandatory to keep in touch with it, be it at home, school or workplace.

Technology, like art, is a soaring exercise of the human imagination. It is said that our world is built on biology and once we learn to understand it, it then becomes technology.

As it is said that “Charity begins at home, similarly with the ubiquitous ambiance of this widespread entangled phenomenon, it has become quintessential to have its access within the classrooms, right from the early stage of its programs too. This can help the students to proactively gain the practical knowledge of the various new and technical devices around them and learn to operate them and use them potently. Thus, making their lives simpler, when concerned with one of the most important concepts to lead a successful life -Education.

Education plays a vital role in shaping the psyche, personality and grooming the overall appearance of an individual. On the other hand, technology enhances education’s essence with the practical application, thus encouraging the students to use and understand the world around them in an easier and effective way. Sometimes, by just simple clicks.

Integrating technology into the classroom is an effective way to connect with students of all learning styles. It even gives students the opportunity to enhance their interaction with their classmates and instructors by encouraging collaboration. Using technology in the classroom gives teachers and other faculty members the opportunity to develop their student’s “Digital citizenship skills”. It’s one thing to use mobile devices, it’s a completely another thing to know how to use them correctly and responsibly and here, we are definitely talking about the latter.

Integrating technology in education helps students to stay engaged. Combining new tech like virtual reality with traditional classroom instruction is one example of how the introduction of new technology can enhance the learning experience and create new opportunities.

The traditional passive learning model is broken. With technology in the classroom, the teacher becomes the encourager, adviser, and coach. Technology helps students to be more responsible. Owning their own devices or borrowing the school’s devices gives students the opportunity to improve their decision-making skills as well as taking ownership of a valuable device i.e. it inculcates a sense of responsibility in the students.

Technology transforms the learning experience. Students have access to an incredible amount of new opportunities. From learning how to code to learn how to collaborate better across teams and with their instructors, technology empowers students to be more creative and be more connected. New tech has super-charged the way by which we learn today.

However, there are also several things which have to be kept in mind in order to successfully implement the “digital classrooms” or “technology-equipped classrooms” like proper wi-fi facility in the campus, proper infrastructure of the campus, the economic feasibility of the institutions and proper management of these devices in case of any failure.

The advancement of technology lies in the making of it, based on making it fit in, that it is never noticed, just like everyday life. By combining education with technology, the world is coming closer every day. Thus, leading to effective human interaction, human behavior, human understanding, and human skills from around the world, by imbibing its usage in the students from a tender age i.e. Classrooms!!
