The big battle between two big budgeted Bollywood movies of 2017 seems to be a win win situation for both of the films. While Srk’s Raees is taking a big lead in the numbers, Hrithik’s Kaabil is getting lot of appreciation from viewers as well as critics. Hrithik is giving stiff competition to SRK.
SHAHRUKH KHAN has a niche audience who have always loved him even when he played a baddie in Baazigar or in Don. SRK was happy that audiences accepted him as gangster Raees Alam. Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s performance has also received a thumbs up from the audience.
Meanwhile, Hrithik’s film got a boost in its collections through word of mouth which gives you goose bumps when you see the movie. His portrayal of a blind man received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Also performance of YAMI GAUTAM, RONIT ROY & ROHIT ROY are appreciated.
Meanwhile both of them landed into the controversy when Rakesh Roshan accused Raees’s makers that they are adopting the promotion strategies of KAABIL team. Rakesh Roshan said in an interview ” I showed the distributors 1 hour preview of the movie which I never did in my life and after watching the preview they(distributors) were convinced to give me half of the screens, but when movie released we got only 40% of the screens. Meanwhile Raees makers denied this accusation of plagiarism of copying their promotion strategies.
