SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 8 FACTS AND SPECIFICATION

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was launched in August 2017. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone has a 6.30-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2960 pixels. It comes with a great software and excellent useful stylus.

The phone comes with 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. As for the cameras, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 designed with a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 runs Android 7.1.1 and is powered by a 3300mAh non removable battery. It measures 162.50 x 74.80 x 8.60 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 195.00 grams. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepts a Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, Headphones, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Barometer. It is at least IP68-certified, meaning it’s waterproof even when subjected to a half-hour submersion.

The Galaxy Note 8, is Samsung’s polite return to the market, and in many ways, this phone is a huge success. With a beautiful design, great software, invincible 6.3-inch Quad-HD, AMOLED HDR screen, and highly implemented stylus, there is very less which you don’t like about it.

As for features, let’s start with the front. There are a front-facing camera and iris scanner inside the top bezel along with the earpiece and an LED notification light. On the bottom, there’s nothing visible, although the lower portion of the screen is actually a pressure-sensitive home button that can be used to wake the phone. On the left edge, you get the volume rocker and the Bixby personal assistant button, while on the right is the power button. The lower edge is home to the USB-C connector, 3.5mm headphone socket, and pop-out S Pen stylus, as well as the loudspeaker. Finally, on the top, you get a SIM card/microSD card slot.

The camera consists of two sensors behind two lenses (more on these in the Camera section), an optical heart-rate monitor, LED flash, and a fingerprint scanner. It has a good fingerprint scanner, but I’ll say that on a phone this size, this is certainly the wrong place for it and is almost impossible to reach when pulling the phone out of your pocket.

Overall, Galaxy Note 8 fulfills all your requirements which you always look or desire to have in today’s smartphones but there are some little drawbacks about this phone such as it is quite expensive for normal persons to buy in one go. Indeed, the only concern about this phone is battery life. Battery life is sub-average, it may not run for a long time, especially for heavy users, it has single SIM Card slot and the last thing is the display screen is too big, especially to fit in your pocket or to carry. Otherwise, everything is really good.
