Top Ten Bollywood songs

The festival of colours seems incomplete without some music added to it to set the mood right. Bollywood have always been eager to add Holi in many movies as an important event. In some movies, Holi songs have been featured on the actors and actresses which have become a huge hit among the masses. From ‘Holi ke din dil…. ‘ from Sholay till date these songs have been time and again played on the occasion of Holi to add some spice to the festive spirit. Lets have a look at some of the superhit Holi songs of Bollywood which are alive forever.

Holi Ke Din Dil Khil Jaate Hain: This song from Sholay can never be forgotten on the occasion of Holi. The group dance by Hema and Dharmendra with loads of colours is such a classic piece of performance.

Aaj na Chhodenge bas: The song of the 1970 film Kati Patang picturised on Rajesh Khanna and Asha Parekh is a huge hit among the masses. Do listen and have some dance moves like Rajesh Khanna.

Rang Barse (silsila) : No holi festival can be complete without this marvelous song played in the backdrop in the voice of Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. Wow! Just reading the title, I am in the dance mood now.

Ang Se Ang Lagana: The mischievous romantic song picturised on Sunny deol, Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla is good one for a couples party on Holi.

Holi Khele Raghubira: Amazing! Amitabh and Hema Malini at this age playing Holi with full energy. Must learn the zeal to enjoy life. Hats off.

Jaa re hat Natkhat: Another old but gold song on Holi from the movie Navrang. Don’t miss on it for a classical performance.

Soni Soni Akhiyon: This song from the movie Mohabbatein is a hit and has very good music. A dance number indeed. Romance in the backdrop of  Holi festival. Good job.

Do me a favour lets play Holi: One of my personal favourite from the movie, ‘Waqt-the race against time’ has some special element attached to it.

Balam Pichkari: The song actually made for the Jawaani Deewani ie. The youth but can be enjoyed by any age group, afterall who remembers age or anything after a glass of bhang.

I am just all set to be in the mood to dance and play Holi. You also gear up…
