Akshay Kumar Team Up with Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush for Anand L Rai’s Film Atrangi Re

Aanand L Rai’s film “Atrangi Re” has finally announced the list of its cast and the good news is that it will star Akshay Kumar alongside Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush. Though the storyline of Akshay Kumar’s latest movie has not been released but the makers announced the names of chief cast team to increase the excitement of the fans.

A report from Bombay Times quoted Akshay saying “I am thrilled to be working with Aanand L Rai, as I have always admired the way he has showcased his stories. When he narrated the film to me, I said ‘yes’ within 10 minutes. It is a challenging character to play, but at the same time, it is such a special role that my heart just couldn’t say ‘no’ to it. I will remember it for the rest of my life.”

The news of the cast was released by T- series through a video where the names of the movie along with the list of its chief actors was seen.

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie will be Dhanush’s first hindi after Shamitabh (2015). Discussing about working with Sara and Dhanush, Akshay said “My combination with Sara and Dhanush truly makes it true to its title — Atrangi! And I know that Aanand, in his special and simple way of storytelling, will only add magic to it. As I said, my heart just couldn’t let this one go.”

“Atrangi Re” Realising Date 

According to latest Bollywood news, the film will hit the screens in March. Talking about the film, director Anand thought of Akshay Kumar to be a safe actor to launch with. After Anand’s last unsuccessful movie Zero, it was necessary for him to work hard over his new release and Akshay Kumar’s latest movie Good news, that has earned over 200 crore on box office, made him most eligible actor for the film. Anand said “It takes a secure actor like Akshay to do such a role. He has been pushing the envelope and is always up for challenges. Their (Dhanush and Sara) pairing is interesting and exciting. Fans will love the freshness these two will bring on the big screen,”
