Bhumi Pednekar again will be seen together in the sequel of “Shubh Mangal Saavdhan”. The name of the movie will be “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan”. Actor Ayushmann Khurrana and producer-director Aanand L Rai are all ready to reunite for the sequel to “Shubh Mangal Saavdhan”. The sequel film, titled “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan”, will be directed by Hitesh Kewalya and deals with the subject of homosexuality.
The success of ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ encouraged them to turn it into an authorization that will undertake banned subjects in the most light-hearted manner. With ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’, they have a great story in hand and Ayushmann is set to play the lead. We hope audiences would enjoy it as much as the first film, said Rai in a statement.
The first movie, directed by RS Prasanna and released in 2017, featured Ayushmann and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead. The film addressed the outlawed subject of erectile dysfunction in a light-hearted manner.
Ayushmann said that their new film ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ will be dealing with homosexuality in a sensitive manner. No doubt it is a beautiful story told in a classic manner. Aanand Rai’s style of filmmaking will touch the hearts and leave a smile on the face. ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ is one of the most brilliant films that have been read for a long time and is handling the subject of homosexuality, a very sensitive issue.
