Bollywood Box Office Collection

The multi-starrer movie Mission Mangal has broken many Bollywood box office collection records including Kabir Singh’s first-day collection record, and the opening weekend record of 2.0. The movie is based on the real incident when India launched its first interplanetary mission for Mars which was led by women scientists.

Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi, and Kirti Kulhar played their respective roles very well and it is visible in the love they are receiving from the worldwide audience. The fact that Akshay Kumar has not outshined the women is what makes the film special.

There are many reasons people are watching as well as recommending the movie to their friends, and that is how the director Jagan Shakti along with the producers Cape of Good Films, Hope Productions, Fox Star Studios, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and actors has set new records in the history of Bollywood Box Office Collection.

The movie was released on 3700 screens worldwide and had a gross collection of Rs 154 crores.

New Bollywood Box Office Collection Records

  • Highest First Day collection Movie of Akshay Kumar
  • Bollywood’s second-highest first day collection movie of 2019
  • 16th highest Box Office Collection movie of Bollywood
  • 6th highest-earning movie on first Thursday

It is not only a space drama or a biographical account of a historical event, the movie also can be viewed as a motivational story of a bunch of underestimated scientists who had lost faith in themselves after facing constant defeats in their lives. The fact that they had lost hope, and even they were not sure if they could take the mission forward is what makes it an inspirational story.
