Just when we thought that we would be able to see no grand wedding this year, actress Mona Singh had put a hold to our assumptions after tying a knot. Mona Singh married to an investment banker from South India-Shyam in a big fat wedding which took place on Friday.
Earlier, a few pictures from her Mehandi ceremony were leaked though the actress tried to maintain privacy. These pre-wedding functions were attended by her close friends Gaurav Gera, Meeta Sharma and MickieDudaaney and Ashish Kapoor in which Mona chose a pink kurta and beautiful floral jewelry for the Mehendi. She wore a red ethnic attire for the sangeet ceremony. Some Pictures of Mona posing for candid selfies with guests are now online.
Mona Singh married at the Juhu Military Club, Mumbai. The actress very well managed to keep her personal life and the wedding preparations under wraps all this while, which left her fans all the more curious. A source close to Bombay Times told that Mona Singh married in a secretive way because she didn’t want any undue attention on this big day for her. Only those who were extremely close to her from the industry and friends were invited to the wedding.
On the big day, Mona Singh married in a red lehenga and a huge mang tika along with with Kaleere and other bridal jewelry while the groom Shyam wore a yellow sherwani. Co-star Gaurav Gera also posted pictures of her all-red bridal look with her back to the camera on his Instagram stories. Actress Rakshanda Khan also attended the wedding. Rakshanda Khan, who has also shared screen space with the actress, posted a video of the moments before Mona Singh married. The video captured the newlyweds having some fun on the dance floor.
Mona Singh can be seen showing some dance moves in her red lehenga as the song Ye Jo Unme Halka Halka Gurur Hai plays in the background. She also shared another video that showed Mona dancing with the other guests post the ceremony. Keeping up with her down to earth persona, Mona kept her look very simple. Not to mention that Mona Singh looked extremely beautiful. We all wish her a very happy married life.
