At the trailer launch the actor Salman Khan said “I have worked on script of this film so, I want all the critics to criticise it”. Salman Khan’s most awaited film ‘Dabangg 3’ of this year 2019, was supposed to be released this Christmas seems to be caught up in another controversy. The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has asked the Central Board of Film Certification to put the stay on the film and also asked to refuse the certification of this film.
The controversy arose with the song ‘Hud Hud Dabangg’ which has hurt the religious sentiments of the Hindus as the producer has dishonoured sages by showcasing them dancing with the superstar on the riverbank in an objectionable manner which has resulted in hurting the religious sentiments of all Hindus. It not only ends here but Salman is also seen seeking blessing from three people who are dressed as the holy trinity: Shiva-Vishnu-Brahma in the song.
Earlier also the film went under certain controversial issues because of a few Shivlings were covered with wooden planks during the shooting of ‘Dabangg 3’ and it was raised on social media which had attracted everyone’s attention and created a lot of controversies as well.
The film is directed by Prabhu Deva and was set to release on 20th December 2019. Film is starring with Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz Khan. Salman said this film is full of enjoyment. If we get controversies for this film then it will not only be in Mumbai but will also spread in Chennai and Bangalore and the entire country. But, if people will be grateful for the film then, it will also resonate with positivity in the entire country. This was said by Salman Khan when interacted with the media at the trailer launch in Mumbai on Wednesday evening (26.11.2019).
Co-star Sonakshi Sinha, also supported the agreement, and also said films which get criticized from critics becomes super-duper hit at the box office.
In addition to Hindi, Dabangg 3, it is also being released in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. On asking why the film took so much of time going across India then he replied that earlier the film Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo and quite a few films released in the South, were used to collect Rs 1 or 2 crore. But this film is different and comes under the field of heroism and larger-than-life story, which the South is crazy about. Films like Baahubali, 1 and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy have been accepted by us. They have been huge hits here. We are open to release their films here and the same our films will also do well over there.
The third installment of the Dabangg is in continuation of the 2012 release Dabangg 2 said by the actor Salman Khan. He also said, he is desperate for its release on 20th December. All the stars have worked 10 times harder in terms of story, production, direction, action, songs and the whole creative journey for this film as compared to Tiger Zinda Hai and many other previous films.
He expects to be the biggest of the lot as it doesn’t have only action and entertainment but it also has a story.
Dabangg 3 is directed by Prabhudheva, and produced by Salman and Arbaaz Khan under the banners of Salman Khan Films and Arbaaz Khan Productions.
