Varun Dhawan recently posted on social media about wrapping up his upcoming film Street Dance 3D thanking ‘the dancers from all around the world’ for completing the flick. Working with the director Remo D’Souza, the 32-year-old actor is reported to faint on the sets of the film Street Dance 3D due to low blood pressure. The reports say that the Kalank star worked for extra hours when the shoot was canceled for two consequent days by the director to fulfill the loss due to delay.

A source said “Varun was battling cold and fever for a long time but continued to shoot nonetheless, well aware that his portions had to be wrapped up before July 26. On Tuesday, he was to film a grueling dance sequence with his co-actors. Following intense prep, Varun was shooting for the number when he got dizzy and fainted. An alarmed Remo sir immediately called for the doctor, who diagnosed Varun with low blood pressure and advised him bed rest for few days. Naturally, Remo sir called off the shoot for the next two days.”

To cover up the loss, the actor returned to shoot after taking a day’s rest and worked for 18 hours. After ABCD and ABCD2, the dancing bar is sure to rise in Street Dance 3D. The shooting for the film has been done in major destinations in Punjab, Dubai, and London with wrap up in Mumbai. As everyone knows how strongly committed Varun is towards his work, and therefore he did a double shift . “knowing that they had lost out on a day, Varun told Remo sir that he would do a double shift. He reported to the set at 1 pm and worked till 7 am on Friday morning.”

In Street Dance 3D Varun plays the role of Jay who leaves his dancing group unexpectedly and is later discovered to betray his group to join ‘The Surge’. Here Varun plays the antihero eventually loosing at the dance competition. The film features a romantic relationship between Jay and Carly (Nichola Burley). The other cast members of Street Dance 3D include Richard Winsor, Frank Harper, George Sampson, Charlotte Rampling, Eleanor Bron, Patrick Baladi, Rachel McDowall, Lil Steph, Jimmy Sheffield, and Ashley Banjo.

It was announced on 14 January 2009 that a film similar to Step Up will be releasing starring all these actors and will be named Street Dance 3D. It will be a dance drama movie. Charlie Bruce ( from So You Think You Can Dance) was rumored to appear in the film but supposedly her scenes were cut.
