The Delhi high court had asked the police to file a status report on measures taken by it for medical treatment and rehabilitation of violence-affected people in northeast Delhi on Monday (02.03.2020) and now it has been listed by the court that the further hearing will be held on April 30, 2020.

Rajya Sabha proceedings were scheduled on Monday (02.03.2020) but looking to the riots of opposition in the parliament, it has been adjourned till 2pm because the entire opposition raucously protested over the issue of communal violence in the national capital; they were alleging that the government was sleeping during the violence. The oppositions of MPs included- the Congress, Left, TMC, SP, BSP, AAP and DMK were deadly shouting slogans and blamed the government for failing in its duty.

Delhi assembly had constituted a 9-member ‘Peace and Harmony Committee’, which will be headed by AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj and also constituted Atishi and Raghav Chadha. The first meeting of the committee will be held today at 3pm in Delhi secretariat. (ANI)
