On July 18, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi organised a session via video conference on the inauguration of the new terminal of Veer Savarkar International Airport, in which he spoke about the opposition alliance that gathered against the BJP. PM said those who have gathered, all of them, stay silent when asked about their corruption charges. He says if their corruption gets exposed in any of their respective states, the rest of their supporting parties will come to their defence to hide their deeds.

The PM said “Somewhere there is a flood scam, somewhere there is kidnapping, and at that moment the opposition alliance keeps their mouth shut and they all together decide to stay silent”. He later talks about the 2023 Panchayat elections in West Bengal, where there was public violence and bloodshed all over but the government kept silent. He spoke about how Congress and leftist politicians just left their workers to die.

He talks about Rajasthan. Whether it was violence against women or exam papers getting leaked, they kept their mouths shut. PM Modi spoke about how these politicians promised change and then did a liquor scam of millions but got covered by the alliance. The PM told how these parties keep blaming the Bharatiya Janta Party to save themselves. He also spoke about Tamil Nadu’s corruption and scams.

He requested that people understand the corruption activities and lies of these parties and appealed to save the nation. In the end, He spoke about the development of small nations connected to India and how they are growing significantly with different projects.

In his final words, he mentioned the inauguration of Veer Savarkar International Airport’s new terminal on Andaman and Nicobar Island and explained how this will help in tourism and better connectivity. He ends the speech by thanking the people and wishing for the nation’s growth.
