“A good coach can change a game, but a great coach can change the life”, is what The Board of control for cricket in India (BCCI), has taken very seriously!
The newly appointed Indian cricket team coach Ravi shastri,after the retirement of the former coach Anil kumble, has a mind boggling pay of Rupees Eight crore per annum, which has been unanimously decided by the BCCI’s 4-member panel.
He is known to be offered the salary of what the former coach Anil Kumble, demanded for! One lucky man he is!
Besides this, Ravi shastri had the ball in his court and finally got his desired “core coaching team”, which included the trio R. Sridhar, Sanjay Bangar and Bharat Arun! The triad is expected to get a pay between Rs.2 to 3 crore! Could his stars be more fortunate!
He thereby also announced the roles of each member in the trio, i.e. Sanjay Bangar who was the former batting coach, was appointed as the Assistant coach, Bharat Arun, to be appointed as the batting coach and R. Sridhar as the fielding coach!
When asked about the role playing of Rahul David and Zaheer khan, he quoted “I have spoken to both Zaheer and Dravid, and they are two fantastic cricketers of India and their inputs will be invaluable.”
These two are not in action yet, and it hasn’t yet decided!
“They will be on board, once they have spoken to the authorities concerned. It depends on how many days they would be willing to give, but their inputs will be invaluable,” said Shastri.
Well irrespective of the decision made by the BCCI, All I would like to say is “ALL THE BEST TEAM INDIA”!! Rock it!!
