Shah Rukh Khan has made an apology to the Knight Riders fans by quoting it was the team’s ‘Lack of Spirit’ when they lost the match to Mumbai Indians on Wednesday by a whopping 102 runs at their home ground, Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Kolkata Knight riders which is co-owned by Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and her hubby Jay Mehta, had SRK tweeting and apologizing to the KKR fans post their defeat in the Indian Premier League on Wednesday.

SRK tweeted, “Sports is about the spirit and wins/losses don’t reflect that. But tonight as the ‘Boss’ I need to apologize to the fans for the lack of spirit”.

MI’s victory is sheerly dedicated to player Ishan Kishan, who managed to score an outstanding 62 runs off 21 balls and the other being Ben Cutting who knocked off  24 runs off 9 balls. Ben Cutting kept himself glued to the ground until the team crossed the bar of 200. The match seemed like everyone who got the chance to bowl from MI, took a wicket of KKR under their respective names!

Mumbai Indians scored a whopping 210/ 6 and on the contrary, KKR packed off at just 108. This victory has bubbled up MI to the fourth position with 10 points, akin to KKR, but this tremendous defeat has cast down its run rate to -0.359 which is the third lowest in the current IPL season!
