A very sad tragedy took place on Wednesday (08.01.2020) morning and took away approximately 180 lives of Iranians by Ukrainian Plane Crash in Tehran.

The Boeing 737 jet took off at 6.12 am (Tehran time) and then immediately after eight minutes went down due to technical problems and thereafter crashed shortly, all the passengers boarded in-flight died after the Ukrainian plane crash on Wednesday in Iran’s capital Tehran. The Boeing 737 jet, with at least 176 passengers and crew, took off from the Imam Khomeini Airport, according to Iranian state-run news outlet ISNA. 

In a shared video, the plane can be seen burning like a ball of fire in the sky before crashing in a huge explosion.  The fire was so heavy that none could be rescued.  Still, there were 22 ambulances, four bus ambulances and a helicopter at the target site said by Pirhossein Koulivand, head of Iran`s emergency services, told to state television as reported by Reuters.

As the aircraft was supposed to land on Kiev, but the airline’s call centre in Kiev said it had no information yet, said by Reuters. Boeing had written on their Twitter asserting that the more information is being gathered on the matter of this tragedy. Boeing Company also said that they are aware of the media reports out of Iran and for this they are gathering more information on Ukrainian plane crash in Tehran.

Kashani (Iran officials) said that the Ukranian plane flew for Kiev with 176 passengers and crew crashed around Parand, about 60 kilometres south-west of Tehran. “An investigation team from the national aviation department was dispatched to the location after the news broke down and saviors are trying to collect the dead said by Kashani to ISNA.
