EASTER ISLANDS:

This place is situated on the Polynesian island in Chile, South America. The island is filled with the statues of what is known to be Moai.These statues were believed to be the statues for the worship of the local folks residing there. It was constructed in 1250 and 1500 CE. Moai is also known as Rapa Nui and the largest statue erected there, is the one which is almost 86 tonnes and is learnt to be the feet of Rapanui.However, the nature of the civilization residing there is still unknown till date, which makes it mysterious.

It is a nickname given to Darvaza Crater situated in the Desert of Derweze.This never ending flame sight is a site to experience. This creepiest place is situated in Turkmenistan, which lies in the North West of Afghanistan. This 430 feet deep miracle was accidently found by the scientists of Soviet who discovered it as the source of natural gas and oil which later on turned into the burning site. It is on fire since the last 40years.

NINE HELLS OF BEPPU:

It is situated on the Japanese island of Kyushu. Its uniqueness holding nine natural ponds, strangely all of the different color. It is known that maybe due to the varying minerals in each pond, it reflects varying hues of colors. Despite its mystery, it is a worth visiting place due to its beauty!

MIR MINE:

This scary yet wondrous scraped man hole is believed to be 525 meters deep with the astonishing diameter of about 1200 meters. It is the second largest man burrowed hole following the Bingham canyon mine. This was a diamond mine which is inactive today. The airspace above it is closed due to the reported incidents of them being sucked by the downward air motion.

LAKE MICHIGAN STONEHENGE:

The famous Stonehenge also has their mark in the Lake Michigan which is situated in Canada. It was discovered by a group of researchers who were using Sonar to find the shipwrecks when they came across this miraculous thing, which appeared like Stonehenge. Some of the stones are seen to be arranged in a circular manner depicting a mastodon. These are believed to be almost 10,000 years old, which is exactly coincident with the post-ice age era.
