Indian Cricketers Spotted Playing PUBG at Airport While Leaving For ICC World Cup 2019

The Indian cricket team departed for the ICC World Cup 2019 late on Tuesday night.The 15 members of Indian cricket team including MS Dhoni left for England on late Tuesday night from Mumbai airport for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Meanwhile, The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) tweeted few pictures of the team while they were waiting at the airport lounge for their flight, In those pictures Mohammed Shami and Yuzvendra Chahal can be seen playing the popular game PUBG on their gadgets,   (this is not the first time the Indian cricketers have been spotted playing the video game) MS Dhoni and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are also seen busy their tablets.

Much awaited International cricket council (ICC) Men’s cricket World cup will be starting from May 24 to July 15 in England and Wales. India will be playing two warm-up games before opening their World Cup against South Africa on June 5, New Zealand for their first warm-up match on May 25, followed by a match against Bangladesh on May 28.

Virat Kohli will lead the India side along with the 2011 World Cup winning captain MS Dhoni.

At a press conference that held in Mumbai on Tuesday Kohli said, “We are going into the World Cup as a balanced and strong side. You saw in the IPL as well. All the players in the squad are in great form and playing really well. I think from that point of view, we just expect ourselves to play the best cricket we can.”

“It is the most Challenging World Cup; any team can upset any any team. Team will have to adapt very quickly,” Kohli further added.

Though Kohli has played in two editions of the World Cup, but it will be the first time that he will be leading the team.

Earlier, India has won the world cup trophy in 1983 under the leadership of Kapil dev and in 2011 under the leadership of MS Dhoni.
