Kartik Aaryan’s latest movie Dostana 2 had been shared leading filmmaker Karan Johar had also welcomed newbie Lakshya on board. Introducing the new lad to the people, Karan shared the picture of Lakshya and wrote
In another tweet, the filmmaker cleared that Lakshya is not from the film industry and has been selected through a “legit audition process”. He had captioned it with, “The preparations of Dostana 2 begin.”
Kartik Aaryan is one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. He is one busy actor in the industry currently. Recently the BTS picture of the actor from the sets of Kartik Aaryan latest movie Dostana 2 has been posted. In this picture, the Kartik is seen chilling with his dance directors between his rehearsals. Dressed in a multi-colored tee and pants, he looked elegant as ever. He is seen watching something on his phone carefully and that apparently has taken the choreographers’ attention too.
In Kartik Aaryan’s latest movie Dostana 2, the actor will be seen playing one of the leads in the second installment of the movie. It will also star Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya Lalwani in the lead roles.
Apart from this, he will also be seen stepping into the shoes of Akshay Kumar in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. The movie, which will be directed by Anees Bazmee, is not a sequel to the first movie. It also stars Kiara Advani in the lead role.
Earlier, Karan Johar had already tweeted that apart from Kartik and Janhvi, the film will star a ‘suitable boy and also announced the sequel of the 2008 comedy-drama Dostana. The film directed by Collin D’Cunha is penned by Navjot Gulati, Sumit Aroraa, Rishabh Sharma and D’Cunha.
2008 release Dostana caused quite a stir among the audience with its unique and humorous plot but also earned criticism for how it represented homosexuality. Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham, and Abhishek Bachchan-were in the lead roles in Dostana. But now in Dostana 2 let us see what the film says with Kartik Aaryan’s upcoming movie 2020. Most probably to release in December 2020.
