Yes, we all bleed the same color i.e. red!! We girls undergo an experience of the roller coaster ride in our tummy. It feels like turmoil, tummy collapsing, contracting and uncontracting all at once, Legs paining but never comprehending the exact points of the pain and of course the back, it aches like we have permanently tied some 60kg item to it!!Every part of the body aches in a way that can never be explained!!Pheww!!
You won’t believe, but few are even on constant meds to surpass the pain and the some of them have to be injected at regular intervals in order to be relieved from the mind boggling pain!
This is what it feels like when we are menstruating! And to top it we also have to go through the world class dramas like do not enter the temple, do not touch the pickle and above it all, the shopkeepers hand us the sanitary napkins as if it’s some kind of a secret weapon and we are the terrorists!! I mean just shut up!!
India is a land of the Kamasutra. Despite this, talking about Sex or premarital Sex is still considered a taboo!! I mean I never understood the logic!! Everybody is happy when a child is born, but no body wants to freely open about the process involved behind it! That’s Strange!
Guys should be pushed into getting the sanitary napkins, as by doing this, the people from whom we have been carrying it like some secret weapon to destroy the universe, we can then freely carry it and thus, maybe there will be a little change in the perception of the society. This should be the primary step towards the change!
I mean come on guys, purchasing it, will start off no similar process in you or will not embarrass you, rather by getting into our shoes maybe you will understand what all we go through!
I do understand the fact that you guys must be feeling really embarrassed by being a part of our natural phenomena, but trust me, this will for sure change the mindset.
For the first time in history, the advertisement of a sanitary napkin will depict the red fluid rather than the old blue one. Now this is something directing towards the change.
People are trying to open up about this, then why not you start purchasing the sanitary napkin to be a part of it too!
