Looking to the vast destruction of the nation’s property in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Thursday (19.12.2019) his government will take “reprisal” on those involved in the violence over the amended Citizenship Act by auctioning their property to reimburse the losses caused by them.

There is no place for violent behavior in a democratic organization. Taking advantage of opposing the CAA, the opponent’s Congress, SP, and Left parties have pushed the entire country to fire. But the violence that happened in Lucknow and Sambhal will be dealt with strictly. All the government properties which got damaged in the violence will be detained and auctioned to compensate for the losses was clearly said by him.

He also said that these people have been captured in video and CCTV footage and all of them will be detained and they have to bear all the losses.
