This is the condition of our current youth, on whose shoulder the nation will be in the future. But, if they are so violent then, what will happen to the next generation? It is a very big question and also highly concerned.
National capital Delhi on Sunday (15.12.2019) has been put on the high alert insight of the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act that took a brutal turn near Jamia University. Delhi Police has registered two cases pertaining to the violence and property damage by protestors, however, so far it is not clear against whom the cases have been lodged.
In spite of extreme violence, Delhi Police has been told to remain on high alert in sensitive areas of the capital city and carry out patrols on regular intervals to check any annoying incident.
One of the two cases has been lodged in New Friends Colony police station for arson, rioting, damage to government property and obstructing government work. The second case has been filed in Jamia Nagar police station for rioting, stone-pelting and obstructing government work.
As many as three buses were set on fire and several other vehicles destroyed as anti-citizenship law protesters. It was shameful to know that some students of Jamia Milia Islamia University clashed with police near New Friends Colony in South Delhi on Sunday, leaving dozens of people and several cops injured. The students were highly indiscipline and appeared as if did not learn anything from their education, they had no manners in talking to press people and police. For everything, they were blaming the police and press people.
Students created violence with no solid reason and unnecessary developed havoc in the city. Still, they are with the same temperament, appearing as if students are least bothered of their studies and only want to become the destroyers. Neither they are living in peace nor allowing others to live peacefully.
All government and private schools in southeast Delhi near Jamia University are closed today, Monday, December 16 in the view of prevailing conditions near Jamia University that took a violent turn on Sunday.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Sunday announced on micro-blogging site Twitter and said. “All government and private schools of Okhla, Jamia, New Friends Colony, Madanpur Khadar region in southeast District in Delhi will be closed tomorrow. In view of the present situation, the Delhi government has decided to keep the schools closed,” he had tweeted in Hindi.

Meanwhile, Delhi Traffic Police closed the transportation of vehicles from Sarita Vihar to Kalindi Kunj on road no. 13A. They had also advised the motorists heading towards Delhi from Noida to take Mathura Road, Ashram and DND and those coming from Badarpur were directed to take Ashram Chowk route.
Entry, exit gates of over 15 Delhi Metro stations were closed following protests on Sunday. It included Delhi Gate, Pragati Maidan, ITO, IIT, GTB Nagar, Shivaji Stadium, Vasant Vihar, Munirka, RK Puram, Sukhdev Vihar, Jamia Millia Islamia, Okhla Vihar, and Jasola Vihar stations.
On Monday morning, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) informed that entry and exit gates at all stations have been opened. Normal services have resumed in all stations under high security.
