It is a very disgusting and voracious incident. When we Indians will be free from these sickening incidents? When the men will change their mindsets? It is really hard to believe how men can torture a girl up to this level? And who has given the right to ruin them? These questions are arising in the mind of each and every worried parent, worried brother and sisters and worried husbands, thinking even they could be one of them.
The latest case of the 27-year-old veterinary doctor came into limelight on Wednesday (28.11.2019) evening, She was returning home after an appointment with her doctor.
Her badly burnt body was found the next morning (29.11.2019). Police said she was gang-raped before she was brutally killed and burnt.
Four accused have been arrested in connection with the case, senior police official Prakash Reddy said.
Vet doctor’s sister said, her sister had left home on her bike around 6 pm on Wednesday for a prescheduled appointment with the doctor.
When she was returning back home around 9 pm, she had called her to say that she had a puncture in her motorbike and a lorry driver had offered to help and that she was waiting near a toll plaza, said by vet’s sister
Vet’s sister said the victim had also told her that she was scared because it was already so late and was also not finding things fine around her.
She said when she tried to reach her sister again a bit later, she found her phone switched off. The woman’s family immediately rushed to the spot and searched for her, then they had lodged a police complaint when she couldn’t find her.
Finally, her body was discovered under a flyover by a milkman early Thursday morning and he had immediately informed the police.
The victim was identified based on her jewelry and clothes.
As soon as this came into the news hundreds of protesters gathered outside a police station on the outskirts of the Indian city of Hyderabad, demanding the four men accused of murdering a 27-year-old woman after raping her, be handed over to them.
After looking to the anger of mass gathering Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has ordered the immediate constitution of a fast track court on behalf of the accused that was made a target of rape and murder at Shadnagar.
He also gave instructions in this regard to officials on Sunday to speed up the trial of the case and severe punishment to the accused. He had also asked them to start the process of immediate on an urgent basis for fast track court immediately, said officially.
Mr. Rao also refreshed the other case of a minor girl’s murder in Warangal, for which the constitution of a fast track court was asked for the judgment in 56 days. There is a need for such judgment in the instant case too. He expressed the compliance of the government to extend all assistance to the family of the veterinarian.
“These accused people should be tortured in a similar way, in order to realize the pain what the victim might have faced, and this is the demand of all protestors”
