Taking a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first ever press conference Friday “like last episode of Mann Ki Baat publicized on TV instead than radio”, Samajwadi Party boss Akhilesh Yadav said the presser appeared.

“Development is asking have you seen the first press conference of Pradhan ji.. Media people did not get Appears the last scene of Mann ki Baat has been publicized on TV rather than radio.the chance to pose their inquiries and the trained warriors stayed quiet,” Akhilesh Yadav tweeted.

Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah also took a dig at PM Modi, saying, “Amit Shah doesn’t forget to thank the embedded BJP workers disguised as journalists”.

“It is unfortunate that even after 5 years of rule of d BJP, PM couldn’t confront media. It’s an inquiry in everybody’s mind. Before d last phase of election PM has given clear indication from his body language that he has accepted defeat and it was like a farewell P.C of d Party & Govt,” he tweeted.

Referring to what he claimed as PM Modi’s reluctance to address the press, Congress pioneer Ahmed Patel said in a tweet, “Never observed a public interview where another person is responding to inquiries for your sake. There was no compelling reason to bring down the nobility of the workplace of the dignity of the office of the Prime Minister just to prove a point.”

PM Modi’s media cooperation was finished, Congress president Rahul Gandhi tweeted, “Congrats Modi Ji. Amazing Press Conference! Showing up is a large portion of the fight. Next time Mr Shah may even allow you to answer a couple of questions. Very much done!”
