Supreme Court has announced, on Monday, the ban on the sale of the firecrackers in Delhi NCR, permitting them for the earlier order, to be infested from after November 1, 2017.
The permanent licenses of the sale and purchase of these firecrackers are believed to have been suspended, in the National Capital Region (NCR), for a time being. This was decided on 12th September 2017.
The Supreme Court has temporarily banned the sale and purchase of the firecrackers, to avoid the previous year’s situation of immense Noise and Air pollution.
Last year, post-Diwali, witnessed a huge breakdown, in heath as the schools were closed down, due to unbearable pollution. The people, including the kid, were roaming around with the oxygen masks intact to their mouths! It has been a very serious and a tragic scene.
Though, Diwali is one of the most important festivals in Hinduism, which is followed by bursting the crackers and lightening the diyas etc., but all this not at the cost of one’s health! And hence, preventive measures were taken!
