PM Modi arrives at Sweden for India-Nordic Summit

Prime minister Narendra Modi arrived in Sweden at late night at 9:30 pm(local time) on Monday in order to commence his two- day visit to Sweden as part of the India-Nordic Summit.

Prime minister was received by his Swedish correspondent Stefan Lofven at the Stolkhome Arlanda airport and was also honoured with a ceremonial reception.

The Prime Minister was scheduled to meet the Sweden King Carl XVI Gustaf on Tuesday morning followed by meeting its Prime Minister Stefan Lofven from Sogerska to Rosenbad. Both the Prime Ministers will be signing a bilateral agreement, supervening the press conference at around 1:30 pm(Sweden local time).He is later on scheduled to be a part of Sweden-India Business day in the City Hall Golden Room.

The Nordic Prime Minister Stefan Lofven has later on scheduled the bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Modi at Hotel Grand.

He is then expected for his presence in the India-Noric Summit and Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Sweden.

The community ceremony is to be held at the Stockholm University, following the Prime Minister Modi’s departure to London at around 1:30 pm(Sweden Local Time).

The anticipated visit of Prime Minister Modi to the UK will foster the India-UK tech partnership. He is also scheduled to attend the CHOGM in the UK from April 19 to April 20.

After the signing off his visits from both UK and Sweden, he will meet the chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin for a crisp time and will discuss various issues relating to the bilateral, regional and global crisis.
