PM Narendra Modi stands 9th on the Forbes most powerful list, following Xi, Putin, Trump

India’s Prime minister, Narendra Modi stands at the 9th position in the most powerful list according to the American business magazine, Forbes.

Chinese President Xi Jinping, ranks first after replacing the Russian arch Vladimir Putin, who now ranks second has already acclaimed the laurel of being the most powerful personality for the last four consecutive years.

The list which is released in 2018 holds the result of the year 2017.PM Modi has claimed to remain at the same position since the release of the last two lists.

Also, US President Donald Trump, who ranked number two in the previous year, slumped to number three, preceding German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Amazon boss Jeff Bezos and Pope Francis.

Also, Billionaire Bill Gates and Saudi Arabia’s crown prince Mohammad bin Salman have been put ahead of Modi.

The top 10 most powerful list has been brought out by the co-founder of Google, Larry Page. The Forbes have also quoted the names of the new 17, which includes one of them being Mohammad bin Salman who has hailed a remarkable reform into his kingdom, although his father still signs to be the king!

This astonishing list is put forth by Forbes every year which is forged on the basis of “power over numerous people”, “monetary resources”, “competence in multitude spheres” and also “worthwhile use of their power”.
