Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on July 15, 2023. It was his fifth visit to the UAE since 2015. The visit was significant for a number of reasons. Modi met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation in key areas such as energy, trade, investment, and security.

The two discussed major issues like the COVID-19 pandemic and later discussed cooperation in the health crisis. Trade and investment agendas are also shared. Prime Minister Modi also appreciates the authorities for how they take care of the well being of the Indians in the UAE. The two also committed to future political partnerships. 

They also reviewed the progress made on the implementation of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between India and the UAE, which was signed in February 2022. Modi also visited the Indian Consulate General in Dubai and addressed the Indian community there.

This visit will be a sign of strong ties between India and the UAE. The two countries are existing strategic partners. The CEPA will further boost trade and investment relations.

USA 

In recent months, Modi has visited major countries and committed to global partnerships with their leaders. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the United States from June 21–24, 2023, at the invitation of President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. The visit was a high-profile affair, complete with a banquet at the White House, an address to the US Congress, and meetings with US business leaders.

The main focus of the visit was to strengthen the strategic partnership between India and the United States. The two countries discussed a wide range of issues, including trade, defence, and technology. They also agreed to work together on regional issues, such as the Indo-Pacific and Afghanistan.

Egypt 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Egypt on June 24–25, 2023. This was his first official bilateral visit to Egypt since 1997. The visit was aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between India and Egypt. During his visit, PM Modi met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. The two leaders discussed a wide range of issues, including bilateral trade and investment, regional security, and cooperation in the fight against terrorism. They also signed a number of agreements, including a strategic partnership agreement and a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of energy.

Paris 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Paris, France, on July 13–14, 2023. He was the Chief Guest at the Bastille Day military parade, and he held talks with French President Emmanuel Macron on a range of issues, including defence, trade, and climate change. The visit was a major boost for India-France relations, and it is expected to lead to further cooperation between the two countries in the years to come.
