Mann Ki Baat of Year 2019

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been delivering his heart’s voice to people through Mann Ki Baat monthly. Till now 60 episodes have been broadcasted. The first episode aired on 3rd October 2014 and the 60th on 29th December 2019. On Sunday (29th December) the complete layout of the heart’s voice was for the country’s youth in India, he said the current youth don’t like disorder, insecurity and discrimination and question the system when it does not work.

This observation of youth came across by PM Modi in the wake of the nationwide protests by students and political parties since the last two weeks against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

PM Modi said the younger generation succeeds in their dream of doing something new, something different and keep their own set of opinions. He further made it simpler by telling that, one can even say with guarantee that the country’s youth hate any kind of unlawful things in their surroundings.

They hate any element of lack of governance and instability; abhorring any shades of partiality, religion-based things, favoritism or gender discrimination.

The PM Narendra Modi also told the youth that he had observed the youth appreciating the system and likes to follow it. He further revealed that the youth not only prefer to follow the system rather even question the system if not responding properly, but they also get restless and protest for it. PM Modi said, he considers this as a good quality attitude. But everything has its own way of discipline which one should maintain.

Around 25 people had been killed in anti-CAA protests, most of them in Uttar Pradesh. Our new generation is the personification, a reflection of a new system, a new order, a new age, and a new thought. Today, India is eagerly waiting for the coming generation with great hope because they are only responsible to elevate the country to greater heights.

During this voice, Modi also referred to the smooth functioning of Parliament on behalf of their hard work. He added parliamentarians have broken all the records of the last 60 years with respect to the involvement in their work efficiency. The Parliamentarians, who were elected, have broken all the records of the last 60 years. So much achievement, in itself, reveals the strength of Indian democracy and the faith in democracy. He wished and congratulated all the presiding officers, all political parties and all members of Parliament for their active role in this regard.

He had also appealed to the people to purchase products that are produced locally, which have the warmth of our people. He had also offered and said can we pledge that by 2022, when we achieve 75 years of Independence, we will remain committed to buying local products not lifelong but at least for about two-three years till the 75 years of Independence.

Buy locally made items. This will be a great way to light the lamp of success in the lives of fellow Indians. This was also advocated by Gandhiji said by PM Modi.
