PARIS CATACOMBS:
This was built in the 18th century to deal with the overflowing cemeteries or graveyard. There are even different sections referring to different body parts in the form of bones. It is believed to contain the skull of about 6 million people. A ghastly view for sure!
THE ISLANDS OF DOLLS, MEXICO:
This island has a very spooky view of the dolls hanging from the trees. The dolls seem really scary as some of them have lost limbs; some are void of the eye sockets etc. It is believed that a very young girl was drowned in the lake. Her caretakers then hung her dolls on the trees in her remembrance, whose collection proceeded till years following it. It is believed that her spirit resides in the dolls and some of them have always known to have heard the dolls whispering to each other at times.
DRACULA CASTLE, ROMANIA:
This Bran castle in Romania is believed to be the attraction for the mind boggling, blood sucking, cape-laden Vampires aka Draculas. It is advised to carry garlic when visiting or when nearby to this place.
DEATH ROAD, BOLIVIA:
This road has no boundaries. One will never realize its danger until you really view it through the edge, thus measuring the width of the road. It is called death road as it witnessed around 200-300 deaths per year in the 90’s.
HIGHGATE CEMETRY, LONDON:
It is believed to hold the cemeteries of around 1, 70,000 corpses including the ones of Karl Marx, Rossetti, Lucien Freud and many others. Since, the 1960s, people said to have witnessed a ghostly figure called “High gate Vampire” to roam around in this area.
CASTLE OF GOOD HOPE, SOUTH AFRICA:
It is a prison, which was built by the Dutch in the 17th century. For many years, the prisoners were believed to have been tortured, abused and beaten. It is said that, that guards even today hear those shrill shrieking voice of the older inmates.
