In a befitting reply to a Pakistan TV channel’s advert which mocked the capture of IAF Wing Cdr. Abhinandan Varthaman, an Indian YouTube channel, ‘V Seven Pictures’ launched a takedown of the Pak video.

Giving a new twist to Wing Cdr Abhinandan look the new advertisement generated a lot of mixed reactions on Twitter.

In the response video, an Indian fan sitting in a salon can be seen observing Yuvraj’s iconic knock when he smashed 6 sixes in the 2007 T20 world cup against England.

In the middle of it, a Pakistani supporter enters the salon and presents a gift to the Indian fan which really is a handkerchief. The Pak supporter tells the Indian fan that it will help him to hide his face after India loses against Pak in the World Cup battle.

In the remaining part of the advert the Indian man and the barber target the Pak fan with a twist in Abhinandan’s trademark style.

The Pakistani ad showcasing a character in Abhinandan look invited the anger in Indian fans.

In the Pakistani ad, a man with Abhinandan trademark mustache can be seen mimicking the wing cdr. and his statements, whilst being in the custody of Pakistani Army after his MiG-21 Bison was targeted by a Pak Air Force jet in Feb 2019.

The persona repeats Abhinandan now famous one-liner “I’m sorry, I am no longer supposed to tell you this” while sipping tea in a white cup.

As the persona walks out, the other person in the video takes the cup from him referring to the ICC Cricket World Cup.

India and Pakistan will face each other on Sunday, Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Manchester.
