As we all are aware that iPhones are very expensive and looking at its high-cost people usually move to other smartphones. But now Apple suppliers have declared that they will begin the assembling of a new low-cost iPhone in February 2020, people familiar with the plan responded, as the company is looking forward to addressing a wider belt of the global smartphone market ahead of its 5G handsets later this year 2020. The Cupertino, California-based company is expected to officially make public the new phone as early as March. People also said that the assembly work for the new handset will be split among Hon Hai Precision Industry, Pegatron and Wistron.

This will be the first low-cost iPhone model since the iPhone SE. It will be somewhat similar to the iPhone 8 in looks from 2017 and include a 4.7-inch screen, Bloomberg News has previously reported. The iPhone 8 is still in the market, currently selling for $449, whereas Apple sold the iPhone SE for $399 when that handset launched in 2016.

The new phones arriving soon are likely to have Touch credentials built into the home button itself, reusing established Apple technology instead of opting for an in-display fingerprint sensor like most modern Android rivals. It will not have Apple’s Face identification biometric authentication, but it will feature the same processor as Apple’s current flagship device, the iPhone 11.

Apple’s now have been launching more affordable iPhones, which have gained its popularity with consumers, including the latest iPhone 11 Rs. 63,900, whose starting price was $50 lower than Apple’s original pricing. The strong demand for iPhones has encouraged Apple to ask Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. to make more chips in the current quarter, according to two people familiar with the matter.

Looking at the consumer’s demand Apple is planning for low-cost iPhones for release later in 2020 that would be including 5G connectivity, faster processors, and new 3D cameras on the back, Bloomberg News has reported.

This cheaper offering may help Apple better to compete with the most price-competitive and fast-growing emerging phone markets, particularly India. But still, iPhones are still on the tougher side to sell in the country, which is overrun by numerous Android smartphone rivals coming in at a much cheaper rate of less than $200. Still, Apple has shown itself to cut down in its position and is eyeing locations for Apple stores within its borders.

The US tech juggernaut is hoping for good growth of its handset shipments this year; it has already set the goal of shipping more than 200 million units in 2020. The descendant to the iPhone SE will play an important role in achieving their target.
