Dream Girl Trailer: The winner of the National Film Award for Best Actor, AyushmannKhurrana, establishes his role as Sita for his upcoming film Dream Girl trailer. The trailer portrays Ayushmann Khurrana as Pooja and indicates towards another hit performance from the award-winning actor. The movie is expected to fill the halls with loads of laughs. The star who was previously praised for his acting skills in Andhadhun shared his award with URI: The Surgical Strike actor Vicky Kaushal.

PLOT: Dream Girl begins on the sets of Ram-Leela where Ayushmann plays the role of Sita. His quest for a job lands him into a sex call center. He convinces his boss assuring him that he can do all sorts of womanly works from knitting to dubbing a female voice, except giving birth. He is appointed to talk to customers with a fake name, Pooja. Soon, all his customers fall in love with him unaware that they were dating a male. This may be the reason to entitle the film as Dream Girl. Will he able to handle the situation after unveiling himself and shattering the dreams of his lovers?
With Ayushmann Khurrana speaking in three different voices, the film also stars Nushrat Bharucha, Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, and Manjot Singh. Featuring Ayushmann in a sari, Choreographer Ahmed Khan who is also judging Nach Baliye9, prepared him for a dance performance in the flick.

Teasing his fans further, a promotional video was shared by Ayushmann saying “Bajegiaapkidilse seeti jab Dream Girlka trailer dekhenge ye 5 cities.” Produced under Balaji Motion Pictures, AyushmannKhurrana opened up his experience of working with the director RaajShaandilyaa and the script saying “I had to deliver 25 percent of my dialogues in a woman’s voice. Since I come from a radio background, it’s easier for me to modulate my voice. I have spent years behind the mic, mimicking different people. Raaj had given me the references of a few men, who prank people by talking like a woman. I studied those videos extensively. The biggest challenge was to crack the right note. As a guy, I have a natural (deep) baritone and that makes it difficult to sound convincing as a woman. To transition between voices was challenging, but it wasn’t one bit exhausting. I am naturally drawn to different characters, so this was an adventure.”
