Is Kangana Ranaut accused of stealing?  The recent success of film Judgmental Hai Kya starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkumar Rao has been in headlines. But the recent headlines accuse the makers of plagiarism. Flora Borsi, a Hungarian photographer, claims that the poster of Kangana juxtaposed with a cat is copied from her masterpiece without any legal permission. The artist took to social media to raise a voice against this act posting a collage featuring her click and the poster captioning it “this movie poster plagiarised my art! Could someone explain what’s happening, please? This is not right. #JudgementalHaiKya

Where Kangana recently thanked her fans and media saying “It gives me great hope about our upcoming generation to achieve equal human rights. I’m also thankful to all my friends in the media, who were upset with me”, the following day her film ‘Judgmental Hai Kya’ was stuck in a controversy. Flora also added Rajkumar Rao’s poster with a mouse adding “oh yeah, this image somehow reminds me of .. oh wait. Looks like totally my work!” They didn’t ask me for any permission nor reached me out. It’s a shame for big companies plagiarising freelance artists work..”

Kangana is not spared from trolling since the social media post occurred. Many people have joined hands with the artist in her support and asked the makers of the film ‘Judgmental Hai Kya’ for apologies. Some fans went to the extent of suing Kangana:

“please sue them, but remember, the lead actress of the film will accuse you of initiating a smear campaign against her and her movie. And will call you an anti-national, despite knowing you aren’t from India and will term you an ISI agent”

“If you take out plagiarism, nepotism and terrorism Bollywood would produce 10 movies a year I guess”

“Didn’t mean to sound disrespectful but we know that we plagiarise. Why can’t one just take the permission and give the credit…it’s not that hard you know. Plus these production houses make crores so why not pay for the rights to use someone else’s work’”

Indian films have already been accused of Plagiarism many times. From ‘Baahubali’ to Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’, ‘Ghajini’ and SRK’s ‘Ra. One’ all have been accused of piracy and the users have requested Kangana Ranaut and Ekta Kapoor to recheck their work.
