Instagram is now seen as a full-time career by individuals. A lot of celebrities take home hefty cheques from influencer marketing and paid posts. Hopperhq.com started producing the Instagram rich list in 2017 on the basis of influencer rate cards, internal Hopper HQ data, and public information.

Every year since 2017, Hopper publishes the Instagram Rich List. This year’s list is a bit special as 2 Indians have been able to secure their spots in the list. Captain of the Indian Cricket Team Virat Kohli and actress, writer, and overachiever Priyanka Chopra have made it to the Instagram Rich List 2019.

The list is published by Hopperhp.com and the basis of ranking is simple; most amount of money charged by celebrities, sports personalities, and other public figures for promoting a brand’s product on Instagram.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas grabbed the 19th spot charging $271,000 per post. Virat Kohli stood at 23rd position as he earned $196,000 from each promoted post. The top spot is held by the founder of Kylie Cosmetics and reality TV star Kylie Jenner. She charges a staggering $1,266,000 for each promoted post.

Some of the other notable personalities on the list include Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Dwayne Johnson, Justin Bieber, Floyd Mayweather, Felix Kjellberg AKA PewDiePie, Gordon Ramsey, and Cristiano Ronaldo who is also the most followed personality on Instagram. Also, the rest Kardashian – Jenner clan is also present on the list. Last year, Virat Kohli was the only Indian in the list and his rank was 17th. In 2019, he has slipped 6 positions and now stands at 23rd position. Puma India pays ViratKohli around $196,000 for each paid post which translates to roughly INR 1.35 crores.

Pilot Pens, Google Pixel, and Obagi Medical are three companies which Priyanka Chopra Jonas has promoted in the last few months. Also, she is the Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF and regularly posts pictures of activities around it. She is the most followed Indian celebrity on Instagram (43.3 million).
