Losing and gaining weight both are tedious job. Thin people get tired for put on weight and fat people get tired of cut down fat. If one says that in spite of eating well and doing exercises well and very frequently, still not losing weight then it could be any of the two things, firstly eating too much unhealthy food and secondly doing workout mistakes which is not allowing one to Weight Loss.

In today’s scenario we all are falling into the hands of our lifestyle. Weight Loss happens when one finds the best physical activity for himself and does it with enjoyment. The most important when one eats food as fuel for the body and not as a pass time or out of emotions.

Anyways whatever is the cause of not losing weight but one could find their answers in the aspects described below.

No Weight Loss 1 Wrong Eating Habits

When one is not losing weight in spite of good workouts, the reason could only be, if one is in habit of taking wrong foods made up of maida containing foods, too much sweet products, fried and roasted or eating in excess. These foods do not allow losing weight. While the exact food one should consume depend heavily on their body, type, metabolism, and other factors, but it is always good to be on natural whole foods.

One can eat most starchy carbohydrates (like potatoes, brown rice, grains) on days when one does strength training or more rigorous exercise. On one is on rest day or doing light cardio, try to take protein and veggies and not a lot of those starchy foods. Avoid the processed food like, excess bread, sugar, and anything else that’s processed.

No Weight Loss 2 Doing Too Much Cardio

No doubt cardio is necessary part of one’s workout routine. It keeps heart healthy, boosts metabolism, and gives excess sweat. However, only doing cardio or doing in excess, can lead into problems. Longer cardio exercises like staying on the elliptical for more than an hour or going for regular long distance runs can dissolve lean muscle mass, which in fact is essential for increasing our metabolism to burn more calories.

No Weight Loss 3 Not Lifting Weights

The best way to cut down fat and build lean muscle is by doing some form of strength training in addition to your cardio. The more muscle quality of our body has, the fatter one will burn.

If you’re not ready to give up your cardio routine just yet, try adding some interval training by performing short bursts of all-out effort mixed into your regular session. These workouts are much more effective at promoting hormones that target stubborn fat. Then, start adding some vigorous exercises to routine workout. Body weight exercises like push-ups, squats, and lunges are a great place to start to help build up to lifting actual weights.

No Weight Loss 4 Not Working Hard Enough

There’s no exact calculation to working out and eating healthy, it is just a trial and error, finding out what works specifically on one’s body. And more time spent in the gym doesn’t always equal a fit person. Unless one is an athlete, body builder, or a marathoner-in-training, the average person shouldn’t be working out more than an hour a day.

No Weight Loss 5 Body Is Under Too Much Stress

Exercise creates stress on the body. When one has a healthy balance of exercise-related stress and recovery time, the body is healthy and can lose its excess fat. However, if not giving body enough time to recover can also show a negative result as one will produce an excessive amount of cortisol, a stress hormone. Cortisol is both normal and important during exercises as it’s involved in processes that give our muscles the energy needed to get moving.

However, when our body is exposed to cortisol for longer periods of time, it starts to cause negative effects, and the fat gets deposited at the places where we don’t want to see it. Exercise isn’t the only stress giver but a stressful personal or professional life can also make our body produce too much of this hormone. When we stop exercising, our body stops producing cortisol. However, it may not be quite as easy to turn off the mental stress going on in your life. Make sure to keep mental and emotional health in check in addition to physical health.
