Recently, Hardik Pandya announced his engagement with Serbian actress Natasa Stankovic in an Instagram post on New Year Day, Wednesday (01.01.2020). Virat Kohli, India captain, who had already married actress Anushka Sharma in 2017, gave the heartwarming wishes to the newly-engaged couple on social media. He said “Congratulations Hardik, What a pleasant surprise. He had wished both of them for great times ahead and always remain blessed by God. Virat Kohli had also commented on Hardik Pandya’s Instagram post.

Hardik Pandya and Natasa were also extended heartfelt wishes by Sakshi Dhoni, wife of former India captain MS Dhoni, too.

Many of Hardik’s teammates from the Indian team and Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians congratulated the cricketer Hardik, on his engagement.

KL Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, and Ishan Kishan were among those who joined Hardik’s celebration on Instagram.

Before this engagement outburst, he had also marked the beginning of New Year 2020 with an Instagram post, saying: “Starting the year with my firework”.

Currently, Hardik is recovering from a back injury and has also missed out on the Twenty20 series. One-Day International (ODI) and International (T20I) series against Bangladesh and the West Indies.

Still, he is recovering from his medical grounds and will also miss out on India’s upcoming home series against Sri Lanka and Australia but the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has named him from India for New Zealand tour in A’s squad. Hardik’s was last seen playing for international T20I match series against South Africa in September 2019.
