The Asian smartphone market is dominated by Chinese manufacturers like Vivo, Oppo, and Xiaomi. These companies have plenty of devices lined up for release. Now coming to the Vivo s1

Vivo launched its S series in China back in March. Now it is preparing to launch the device in India with a better Helio P70 SOC. The price of the device in China stands at CNY 2300 which converts to somewhere around 23,500 in Indian currency. However, the price of the phone is speculated to start at INR 20,000. Vivo S1 will be launched on 7th August in India.

Earlier it was rumored that the phone will come with an Helio P65 SoC and 4500 mAH battery.

VIVO S1 Specifications

The Chinese model of Vivo S1 featured a 6.5-inch full-screen display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The phone will have 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. A higher variant could have 8GB RAM with 256 GB internal storage. Helio P70 SoC powers this phone and the internal memory is expandable via Micro SD card.

Just like other mid-range phones, Vivo S1 will also have a triple camera setup on the back; 12MP main camera, 8MP wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens. To avoid any sort of notch on the front, the device features a rising 24.8MP selfie camera. All this hardware is backed by a 3940 mAH battery. Also, it comes with an 18W fast charger and a dedicated voice assistant switch to the side of the device. The rear camera is expected to support video recording in 1080p at 30 or 60fps.

The fingerprint scanner will rest on the back of the phone. Game Turbo Mode is built into the phone to increase the gaming performance of the device. Pet Pink and Ice Lake Blue colors will be available for the device. Unlike many other devices in this price range, Vivo S1 will come with the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

All these are expected features of the Vivo S1. The Chinese model of Vivo S1 has a bigger battery and better video recording capabilities. However, the difference between the two will only be cleared when the device launched in India on 7th August.
